About Me
I'm a recent college graduate, exploring new places and ready get out of the USA. I am excited to meet you and see your city/town/backyard/etc!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet great people in cool new places! People know more about their city than I do...I also want to make friends around the world, making the world a little smaller.
I hate feeling like a tourist, so staying with a local is much more fun and enriching.
Interests
Spending time outside, cooking/baking, art/architecture, plants & trees, good food, good drinks, good pals
I like to hike, climb mountains, practice yoga, and run for fun. I love to learn about plants. Science gets me excited.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of folk/americana, but I'll be honest--I do love a good pop album. I like "alternative" and "indie" music as well, as vague as those genres are. All music, throw it at me.
I don't watch a lot of movies--I'd rather read a book!
Books I read tend to be non-fiction. Recently, I've been reading a lot about sustainability, global politics, and some good autobiographies. I've begun reading some more fiction again, starting with East of Eden, which was quite good. I can get really into dense/long epics, too, so I've started reading Dune (which I had never heard of before).
What I Can Share with Hosts
A great attitude! I'm pretty friendly, but I'm also 100% able to entertain myself, so no expectations.
I will gladly cook you a meal in exchange for tips or suggestions about your hometown! I also love to talk and have discussions if you want to shoot the shit.
