ABOUT ME

I love to travel and connect with the new people I meet. I especially love when a new friend can add to my knowledge and I can add to theirs. Favourite example? While passing through Munich I taught a vet the word callipygian and in return I was introduced to the word borborygmi -- pre-lunch hunger will never be the same.

Intereses

I do sports. Currently my main sport is rowing, but I've also been known to do yoga, dance, hike, bike, run, swim, horseback ride, rock climb, and ultimate frisbee. I'm currently reading my way through the Man Booker award winners with my friend Jay who lives in PA (we skype weekly). I love to listen to podcasts (like RadioLab and This American Life) while walking to class and am interested in how research interacts with public policy-makers' decisions (feel free to ask me why those two thoughts belong in the same sentence).
