ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Katie :) I'm travelling around the world atm, I don't really have any set plans or deadlines (coz I hate them!) but I just keep ending up meeting awesome people and in really cool places, so it seems to be working :p I'm super easy going and relaxed, I like having a laugh and live by the idea that everything will work out in the end :) While travelling about our beautiful world, im writing songs inspired by some amazing experiences, listening to new cultural music and sharing in and learning from other peoples stories and lives.

Only gone to a few hosts, but had an amazing time at each. It's an amazing thing how much you can share in only a few short hours. Made lifelong friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music....well I need a bigger box. Basically everything and anything, I love getting new suggestions from other people, but I always like to know why they like that song. At this current moment, 17.20 on monday the 6th oct, I'm gonna say that not falling anelis Assumpçāo is my tune coz the video is just so awesome.
Books...trying to avoid the feeling of 'I should read more' and just read, I like reading books that are recommended to me. And I love bookstores. I think they're magic.
Films...I hate horror films :p I'm a wimp. Fav film- high fidelity. And, shamefully, have never watched a Tarantino film. Yes I know, my movie education is lacking :p

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What..Just one?! So I've gone for the most recent...

In Iceland, we went swimming in a natural hot water pool, it's bright blue, hotter than a bath, beautiful. Plus it was empty apart from us...and you can drink beer in the water. Floating bar. Such a cool thing to do.

Teach, Learn, Share

Guitar/singing. Learn how to sing and play a song
Cooking or baking. I have a brownie recipe to die for :p

A cultural dish? Or maybe some philiosphical ideas? Or how the hell politics work? Yoga or meditation? Basically anything you can teach I will be interested in....
