Hey there,

My name is Katie, and I'm originally from Ontario. My love and passion for adventure carried me all around Canada in 2015, and I've never looked back since! The people I've met, and the stuff I've seen has been amazing, and it's only the beginning! I recently received my Australian Working Holiday Visa, and will be heading there next!

I'm an outgoing, fun-loving, zest for life kind of person. I like to try new experiences, and live life to the fullest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet locals, and really experience the area the way the locals do. I want to step outside of the regular tourist attractions.

Interests

I've bungee jumped, took a waterfall dive, and swam some gnarly class 4+ rapids. As much as I may seem to be an adrenaline junky though, I have a huge love for wine (both red and white, all the wine), Netflix, and board games.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I absolutely love music! Before I began my travels, I worked as a promotional coordinator at a radio station, a band manager for a local band, and various concerts working set up, lighting and sound. I have a passion for the music industry, and can see the beauty in all genres. Everything from some Underoath to Chad Brownlee to Sweddish House Mafia.

Movies: Anything with Wolverine (Hes my hero), Leap Year, Fury, Troy, Me Before You... I've seen a lot of movies, and tend to like most of them. Just not a fan or crazy scary movies! I'm more of a TV series type person.

Books: I love a good romance story!
