About Me
Note: I automatically decline non-personalized requests to stay with me. Using my name on a template doesn't count as personalized.
I’m into: sci-fi, being outside, anthropology, learning languages, kale, meat, improv, the Nile, nuance, music (all types), weird fiction, trying new things, yoga/meditation, climbing, biking, karaoke, neurology
I love talking to people and also need a fair amount of solitude and down time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hospitality is an incredible attribute in human societies. American culture is fairly void of hospitable spaces often found in other parts of the world. Couch surfing taps into hospitality and connection in a way that we all need- especially for those of us living in capitalistic societies.
Of course, I also like to travel authentically and connect to people in their culture- site seeing alone doesn't interest me, people do, learning new languages and cultures does.
