I'm a British girl who has travelled around the world on-and-off for 5 years now. My favourite part of travel is meeting new and interesting people.

I have visited Macedonian friends in Macedonia, a Slovenian friend in Slovenia (who also gave me a tattoo) and an American friend in New York. These are all people whom I met through travel; I met the Macedonians in a hostel in Budapest, I met the Slovenian on a beach in Thailand and I met the American on a marine conservation project.

I've come to realise that it's not necessarily the place that makes my travel experience, it's the people.

I am a creative old-soul and I love to document my impression of the world around me, through picture and video!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is another way to meet new and interesting people who are likely to have a similar perspective in life similar to my own. If not, well that is even more interesting!

I was inspired to join couchsurfing by a guy whom I met on my first day in the Philippines. His stories of amazing interactions with humans through this platform mean that I have now joined!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-wise I am into pretty much everything but I especially love new and upcoming musicians. In Honduras I became a big fan of reggaeton but I will also listen to orchestral movie theme music.

Movie-wise I'm a sucker for a rom-com but will watch most film genres. I'm more into Youtube and Netflix though, to be honest.

Got my PADI Divemaster qualification (even though I almost didn't finish my PADI open water qualification due to fear of scuba diving...lol)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories of my adventures and how I travel cheaply.

I am happy to help clean or cook!

I can also share information about marine conservation, if interested (I have worked as a marine biologist on coral reefs and seagrass beds).
