About Me

27 years old, been traveling 4 months and just have 1.5 to go before I head back to the states.
I love to eat spicy food and see fun cities! I've gotten pretty good at riding scooters and using public transportation.
Because I've grown up in the hospitality and restaurant industry I'm always looking for fun and interesting local restaurant and bar recommendations as well as dining partners.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Coming to the end of my trip here and I now feel more comfortable to be closer to locals and experiences I haven't seen yet. I'm looking to make some friendships and connections with people other than travelers in hostels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I've been doing a lot of reading on this trip. Most recently I read Like Water for Chocolate, the Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fu*k, Watership Down and so on. Things I've found in used book stores and hostels.
Before my travels I was reading a lot of Haruki Murakami books.

Movies I love include but are not limited to: American cult films, documentaries, & 90's dramas and romance

For music I'm all over the place: 90's hip hop & r'n b, alternative rock and indie, 70's rock, ELO, ABBA, early 70's/80's punk rock from the us and the uk
I love to dance ironically

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Indonesia was one giant "first time" experience. In one day my group and I jumped off a 15meter waterfall, swam with dolphins and road scooters through a mountain. The whole day was exhilarating.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning is what I'm here to do. New languages, dining etiquette, dance moves (because I need them lol)
I'd love to chat and hear your opinion about your city, your country, what you think of other countries, where and what you like to eat. Those kinds of things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an amazing dinging partner! Always up for new and fun foods. Love sharing and trying new things and visiting old favorites, cheers!
