My name is Katie, I am 26 years old. I love love love food, and especially cooking and learning about food. I love seeing how other people cook and their own personal styles. I am currently a personal chef, lately I have been cooking on a yacht in the Bahamas, and then returning to Chicago where i pick up random gigs catering or helping out whoever asks. Some other interests of mine are music( I love all music, what matters to me is how is makes me feel), traveling, painting, dancing and reading. I am very open to new experiences. It is my personal belief to keep the door of opportunity always open, you never know what may come from it. I am easy going, relaxed and love to laugh.

I am on couchsurfing because in the next 8 months or so I plan on doing a lot of exploring and traveling with my best friend in the whole entire world and we never know when we may need a couch to crash on.

My favorite artisit right now and for a while is Odesza, something about their sound makes me feel excited and relaxed all at the same time.

My favorite movies are the whole Rocky series!! Ever since I was a very little kid I have loved all of the rockies, I cannot explain why other than that I love Rocky lol.

Favorite Book is definately a hard question for me because there are sooo many books that I really really enjoy. Lately I have been reading educational and informational books just to keep my mind stimulated. But I really really enjoy just a good easy going novel.

Lets see one amazing thing I have done is make my dreams come true, and still keep pushing to make those dreams come true. Since I was a child all I have ever wanted to do was travel and cook and thats exactly what I am doing. To further my dreams I would like to travel for extended periods of time and learn the true authentic cooking from other cultures.
