I've lived most of my life in Minnesota, but right now I'm an undergrad student in San Francisco, majoring in Environmental Studies. In the summers I have a job leading backcountry canoe trips for teenagers. As far as traveling goes, I've been around quite a bit of the US on various road trips, I did a solo backpacking thing in South America after high school (gap year lol), and I spent a college semester abroad doing wildlife research in northern Mongolia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've found that you can make really wonderful connections with people while on the road. It's great to get to know locals and share experiences with people who would have been strangers.
