I'm a 23-year-old freelance production designer for film and television based in Los Angeles, but I'm currently living in Madrid spending six months as an English teacher at a primary school! I love art, music, museums, history, hiking, the environment, and spending time outdoors.

I'm open-minded, easygoing, social, and positive. I love traveling when I can, and when I can't I love to learn about other places and cultures through diverse friends. Some of my most treasured moments in my life so far have been conversations with people who I met through travel or other chance encounters - there's a certain magic when you feel like the universe brought you to somebody you'd never have met ordinarily.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always interested in finding things to do in a new place that you might not find in a tour book. Having lived in Los Angeles for several years, I know that finding the hidden gems in big cities can totally change your experience! I'm also very social and love getting the opportunity to talk to different types of people, hear new stories, and learn new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year after graduating college I walked a portion of the Camino de Santiago. It was such an amazing opportunity to form close friendships from people from all over the world ranging from my age to nearly 80! After my school year ends in Madrid I'm hoping to return to the Camino, this time for the full route!

I would be happy to do a language exchange, cook a meal together (I love to cook and can share lots of great vegetarian recipes!), go on a hike, or share any of my experiences in film, art, and education.
