About Me
Hello!
I'm a recent graduate from the United States and I am traveling for one year studying golf course maintenance and environmental issues. I am a lifelong golfer and I studied environmental science in college. While I learn about the countries I’m visiting through my project, I have also found accommodation is an amazing opportunity to learn even more and meet some of the nicest people in this world.
Traveling has changed my life so much and has opened up my eyes. I think it is incredibly valuable for anyone to experience. I love the idea of pushing myself outside of my comfort zone because that is when I learn the most, and it’s something I try to do a lot when I’m traveling.
I’m extremely passionate about environmental issues and could talk all day about the importance of getting people to care about the environment. I love hiking, camping, working out, and speaking with people from different cultures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I love meeting people from all over the world and making friends in different places. The most amazing part of my travels is always the people I meet. I have been blown away by the amazing, interesting, kind, and generous people I've met through Couchsurfing. I really enjoy traveling this way because it helps you better understand what life is really like in that country. Also everyone you speak with can share ideas, philosophies, or show you aspects of their culture you might not have ever known without having meaningful conversations with them.
