I am very easy going, adaptable, good humoured, tidy! Enjoys plant based foods, holistic nutrition, herbal medicine, travel, nature, literature.

Born and raised in the Prairies of Canada (Brandon, Manitoba)
After high school I volunteered for 6 months full time with Katimavik,
Have travelled coast to coast in Canada and have lived in various towns and cities, including Toronto, Victoria and Nelson.

January 2012 i embarked on a 1.5 year backpacking trip through Thailand, India, Nepal, Indonesia and Malaysia.
My last trip outside Canada was 2015- 2016 for a year and I travelled through England, Nepal and Vietnam.

I lived on Vancouver island for 3 years, and have just recently moved back to the Kootenays.

I am planning to drive from Manitoba to the Okanagan very soon to do a house sit for the winter!

To be apart of an online network of fellow travellers. I like couch surfing because it enables one to get a 'locals perspective' of the area. I have only had a few experiences on couch surfing but all have been positive.
