I believe my main mission in life is to enjoy it immensely. I love to travel and seek out novel experiences. Since I graduated from college, I've worked in a yoga studio and a ski resort at the front desk. I'm also a yoga teacher - I have my 200RYT and about to start my 300 hour certification training. I've been teaching mostly power vinyasa and yin yoga.

It's very important to me to thoroughly relish my day to day life. Love the little things and be open to new possibilities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, I'm a cheapskate - but mostly it's awesome to stay with people as opposed to getting a room somewhere. Couchsurfing brings together really interesting folks, and the best way to explore a new city is to get some local insight. I've had nothing but great experiences with CS, and it's been a real lifesaver on roadtrips. I've been lucky enough to make some real friends and share some special moments.

Interests

I love my yoga practice. It's continual growth on multiple dimensions, and it bleeds out into every other area of my life. I love to hike. Love to ski. I've only been skydiving once, but it was amazing. I'm always down for an adrenaline rush, and I love to cook.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have very eclectic taste in music. I have a lot of love for John Lee Hooker and the blues-I would say that I'm not well versed but I love what I know. Love the Violent Femmes, Aesop Rock, Damu the Fudgemunk, Beck, Blockhead, Dandy Warhols, Jazz Liberators, et al. My favorite movie of all time is Repo Man, because it has everything you need out of cinema. Flying cars, conspiracy, aliens, and punk rock.

I love to cook and eat good food! I would be thrilled to learn from anyone. Or I'll make you dinner. Also, I'm a yoga teacher. Happy to lead a class or give you pointers on your handstand :)
