Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I believe in a community that is willing to open their homes to travelers like myself that might not have the funds for hotel stays.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music that makes my brain happy. Most on that includes electronic funk, oldies, alternative, indie rock, and jam bands. One of my favorite artists is a DJ called GRiZ from Detroit. I recommend him to everyone because his music is awesome.

Movies: I love aesthetically pleasing movies that are beautiful to look at and learn from. Pan's Labyrinth is one of my favorites as well as the Revenant.

Books: my favorites are the grungy messed up ones about murder and drugs. I recommend 'Exit Here'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I enjoy the thrill of traveling and my goal is to hit all 7 continents by the time I turn 27! One of the most incredible experiences I've had is going to Antarctica as a student to study the wildlife there. I also pride myself in being able to travel alone, one of my most recent trips circumnavigating Thailand by myself (highly recommend!)

I'm an avid traveler so if you want to learn travel tips or how to backpack successfully, I'm your person! I also speak a little bit of German and am always willing to teach you the basics :)
