About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new people and visit new and exciting places

ABOUT ME

Hi i'm Katie!

I finished law school last Summer, and have spent the last 18months travelling to various places. I spent Summer 2011 in Italy and Croatia, and then in the Autumn visited Japan.

I'm currently half way through a RTW trip with my friend Natalie. We started in Delhi and made our way overland to Goa, we then flew to Hanoi, and made our way down the coast of Vietnam into Cambodia. After Cambodia we moved onto Thailand, Singapore & Indonesia. We are currently making our way down the East Coast of Australia and will shortly move on to NZ!

We're both friendly and outgoing individuals looking to meet new people and see new places.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others how you would wish to be treated, and never be mean to animals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently don't have my own house/flat, so don't as yet have a couch to offer anyone in return. I will be giving up the traveler lifestyle and starting a job in September, so this will change eventually. Currently i'm a 'surfer' only.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anchorman & snatch are my 2 favourite films. The help was my favourite book of 2011, and I like pretty much all types of music: The Strokes, Queens of the Stoneage, Santogold, Wild Beasts....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving in the red sea is up there.

Teach, Learn, Share

Never eat seafood if you can't see the sea. I've been told it by a lot of people whilst travelling. You'll avoid bum sickness.
