Hi there!

I've just finished my degree in teaching and am off for a few adventures now! I haven't been on couchsurfing in a fair while because study takes up quite a bit of time and energy. But I'm looking forward to exploring some new places and meeting great people! I am friendly and accepting. I would be known amongst my friends as direct. And I would like to think that I am fun and a good laugh (don't we all). I'm not overly chatty but if we hit on the right subjects I'll chat all day. I value genuineness more than almost anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i cherish going to new places and seeing how the locals live and how they think. that is the biggest draw for me i guess. i feel like i haven't quite gotten to know a place if i don't hang out with locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked in the backcountry of Denali National Park in Alaska from June to September. That was pretty neat. Saw the Northern Lights.

i would like to learn another language! it's a shame i only speak English. i think we all teach everyday, as well as learn everyday.
