Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanted to become a CouchSurfing host after needing a couch of my own.
Our college campus had moments during the 2011-2012 school year where residents were evacuated from their dorms in the wee hours of the night. I was taken in by a student at 3AM after my own residence hall was evacuated; she was very hospitable and selfless, and she also made me feel a lot safer during this experience because I could rely on her. The following summer, I was introduced to CouchSurfing. I was excited to see that there is an organization that helps individuals out the same way my stranger did. I couldn't wait to create a profile and help others by providing my own couch!

I'm a big foodie; you're welcome to ask me about where to eat around Pittsburgh. If you have somewhere you'd like to try and need a buddy, take me with you!

One of my favorite movies is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One thing I did was see the Alps when I was in Austria. It was definitely the highlight of my trip.

One thing I love about Pittsburgh is that any neighborhood you visit is quirky and unique. The people here are friendly and open to helping you get the most out of Pittsburgh. People here have passion for what they do and will make anything they believe in a reality - all the while, many are very loyal to their families and their hometown. They never forget Pittsburgh, no matter how long they stay away.
