I've been living in France for the past two years (as a teaching assistant and then an au pair/journalism intern) and now I'm about to move to NYC to start a grad program at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've surfed many times and I've always had great experiences with generous, fun, and helpful hosts. I have made some wonderful friends. I'm not able to host anyone at the moment, but I can't wait to be able to host in the future and give back to the community!

Interests

I love exploring new places, hiking, spending time in nature, picnics, reading, writing, yoga, going out and dancing, riding bikes, good coffee, good wine, cheese, French pastries (basically food in general), and meeting new people from all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Felt the vibration of the massive Gulfoss waterfall and saw the northern lights in Iceland. Bartered like a Berber in the souks of Morocco. Ridden a camel under the stars out to a camp in the Moroccan desert. Walked through the Colosseum and the ancient ruins of the Roman Forum. Sung in Carnegie Hall in New York with my high school choir. Spent years living in Montana, hiking through the beautiful forests and floating the rivers.
