ABOUT ME

I love cooking and mixing drinks, but I'm still working on the basics of both of those. I have more tea than I know what to do with, and I'll always accept a strong cup of coffee. I will sing along (badly) to any song if I know the words (and sometimes even if I don't). I grew up with dogs and cats, and when I lived away from mine during college, I would volunteer at local pet shelters just to play with the animals.

More formally, I'm an environmental engineering student with additional interests in economics and policy. I spend a lot of time reading related blogs but still don't quite know what I want to do as a career.

I am very, very slowly learning Spanish.

PHILOSOPHY

I am very open and will talk about almost anything. I've finally conceded that I will not be able to read every book or news article that I want to, but it's okay. I think there's a lot of good in spending quality alone time, although nothing makes me happier than good conversation.

I'm new to CS, although I have heard about it from friends and even met some of their surfers. For now, I'm looking to surf, but when I have my own place, I hope I can host as well.
