Hey, I'm Katie! I love to travel slowly and learn about other cultures and lifestyles. I studied International Relations and really enjoy meeting others to gain new perspectives on the world. My friends would describe me as easy going, bright, grounded, and compassionate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing to meet other likeminded people willing to share their time with me. I think the community of CS is amazing, and I have met so many generous and kind people through this. I truly love being able to connect deeply with people from all over the world.

The next big adventure for me is seeing everything and everywhere I possibly can in Europe! It's just me and my backpack, trying to take my time slowly :) To truly be emerged in a new culture inspires me to be a better human each and every day. Let's share some joy, some laughter, and beneath the surface conversations!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied in Montevideo, Uruguay, where I learned to speak Spanish. Also I had the opportunity to backpack through some of South America. Where I met the most incredibly kind souls.

Also, I completed a USA road trip! Starting from Ohio and making a full loop back to. I was able to explore the western states in depth thanks to the wonderful and generous community of CS. What a gift to explore the country I am from before beginning more international travels.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my positivity and some stories. I also enjoy cooking and would love to cook with/for you a nice 🌱vegetarian 🌱 meal. Or maybe you can even teach me your favorite dish! I would LOVE to learn!!!

Also I am certified to teach English. I am happy to do some language exchanges.
