Hello world!

My name's Katie, I'm a 22 year old student of geography, and anthropology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. My favorite part of life by far is traveling! When I'm traveling, I feel most alive - when everything is constantly new and different. I've been in love with traveling since I was little. My first big trips were to Rwanda when I was 14 and Thailand for a month alone when I was 16. Since I've been all over - Turkey, Vietnam, Spain, Portugal, Guatemala, Barbados, Canada and France to name a few. I'm a total extrovert so I love meeting people when I travel. Most of my best friends live in all corners of the globe. I would love to meet you as well!

I feel it's finally time for me to start couchsurfing! I've heard so many great stories of lifelong friends made and I hope to meet those people too on my upcoming trips. I will also be moving into a new apartment in Minneapolis, Minnesota shortly, where I'll be happy to host travelers to my lovely home city.
