ABOUT ME

I'm a communications coordinator for an international sports sanctioning body in Indianapolis. I also enjoy motor sports. The first two sentences are not exclusive. I love to learn and see everything, which is why I enjoy traveling. I like to explore creation so I enjoy mostly being outside and not so much shopping, unless I can buy something from a local artisan or grocer. I'm a runner and enjoy getting to know most new places on foot and hope to run in every city I visit. If there's indoor or outdoor rock climbing in your city, I'd like to know everything about the culture because it's one of my favorite things. If there's a local brewery nearby, I'd love to stop in and see what they're all about. I'm also into yoga and would love to know all of the cool places to do yoga around town, inside or outside. Because of my yoga practice, I believe that we receive the good we put out into the world. I'm interested in dramatic architecture, like gothic and roman. I'm a huge advocate for sun safety (Seriously, google my name). If you don't mind, I'd love to learn about why you chose your city as your home and your favorite things to do around town.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing is fun to me because it gives me a chance to get to know the locals and the best spots in town. I also like it for promoting a sustainable environment. When staying in a hotel with my job, I find I take up way more space than necessary so I try to take up much less space and share with others for leisure travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last December I traveled to LA and stayed in North Hollywood on a friend of a friend of a friend's couch for a week and had the best time. I even baked cookies for a thank you. :)

Interessen

I like to smile and make others smile. I'm a fan of flowers and puppies and running and baking treatsies. I also climb things and enjoy playing outside. I love my home of Indianapolis so I'm interested in learning about to love other cities also.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I rode in an IndyCar going over 200 mph around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but that's not as exceptional inside Indy as it is outside of Indy.

I proposed a bill that recently passed in the state of Indiana to ban tanning beds for minors. This time around it has been approved to prohibit teens under the age of 16 from using a tanning bed, but we plan to go at it again next year to tighten the restriction.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'm a runner and climber and I also practice yoga. Physically, I'd love to be a teacher of all three, but I'm also fairly organized and out of the fitness realm, I'd be glad to help anyone make that happen in their life. Baking treatsies is also fun for me. When I'm stressed out, I reorganize my life, do some yoga and bake some cookies to give to a friend.

I'd love to learn everything you'd like to share about your hometown, whether you consider that your current home or another place. I think homes are interesting and place a key role in shaping someone's interests and life.
