Overview
About Me
Born and raised Colorado native. I love where I am from, and would gladly host anyone and show them my beautiful state once I'm back. I am 24 years old, and I am currently living in Melbourne. I have a good amount of experience travelling--lived in NZ for a year, and my heart is still there :) have done Europe a few times, looking to live in Asia at some point in the not too distant future. Did a silly thing and found a sweet job and partner, so I may be chilling back in NZ for a bit and relaxing my travels (hopefully temporarily).
I studied psychology, and I love talking to people about what I have learned. I also really love math and science.
I make electronic music with harp in my free time. Maybe if you're lucky, I'll share some music with you :P always looking to meet other electronic music producers (or musicians in general!) as I try to expand my skills and social network.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've made some incredible friends through CS, and I absolutely adore this community. I have yet to officially host through this platform, though I have informally hosted people many times.
Interests
Back home, my main hobbies are playing the harp and rock climbing. I don't know if I'll have a chance to do either while traveling, but I always have wanted to learn more instruments! I love both playing and listening to music, and I love outdoor adventures. Anytime I can climb on top of big rocks or explore nature is a bonus. I also started getting into yoga and meditation back home. I am still a beginner, but hope to learn more!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a wide variety of music, but have really been delving into electronic music the last few years. I love chill, experimental electronica, trip hop, some glitch, getting into dubstep lately (like GOOD deep dubstep, not bro-step), bass music, and just some all-around weird stuff. Favorite current artists are Nicolas Jaar, Bluetech, and Charlesthefirst.
I love Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It's my favorite book. Also love anything by David Sedaris.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved to New Zealand by myself 2 years ago with one backpack and no plans. Best thing I've done for myself. Everything I'm doing today is pretty much a direct result of that decision.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to become a better cook. I can cook some basic and yummy meals, but I'm always jealous of creative cooks. Happy to share some tips and basics of electronic music production if you're keen. Even more willing to learn from you if you're experienced in the art, as I've only been doing it for a year.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Healthy cynicism, openness to new experiences, music and entertainment.
