ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Katie, I'm 20 from Brisbane :) I study psychology at the University of Queensland and work in Aged Care.
I live maybe 40mins drive from the CBD and currently can't host anyone- but would love to show some people around if you're interested. I have hosted a lot, when I lived in a different place.
I speak German (school and a small amount at university) and love languages. I am laid back, fun and would love to meet you!
PHILOSOPHY
I'm here to learn, and to help others.
Karma- what you give out is exactly what you'll get back. Always be kind, caring, forgiving, honest, positive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Knossos on Crete; so exciting for a history buff like me.
Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. We had a surreal poster of it in our classroom in high school while I was studying German, and when I finally got to see it... Wow. It was just like the picture, just like a Disney Castle!
The Grand canyon was also breath-taking.
Teach, Learn, Share
This Couchsurfing... It reminds me of ancient ideas of travel, where small community groups would host travelers, and many people when they came of age would make some kind of Journey.. Many would find a new home, and so humanity changed, grew, evolved. But this kind of hospitality was so important to humanity at the time, when our species was more few and far between. I think the whole idea of this is a lovely way to get back to this sense of community throughout our entire species. It allows for learning, new experiences and growth. It's a wonderful idea!
