Hi! I'm a recent college grad figuring out what to do with myself now. I'm really laid back and enjoy getting to know new places and experiences. I majored in geology in college so I love being outside and nerding out about rocks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My housemates and I have had the opportunity to host a few times and each experience has been amazing. We have made some great friends and showing someone who's really excited about your town around has re-excited me about where I live.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a couple really great couch surfing experiences. I was drawn to it as a way to travel on the cheap, but I've met so many great people and realized that it's the best way to get to know a new place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like lots of comedies and documentaries as far as movies go, but I also enjoy some truly truly terrible movies (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085862/ or early 2000s Disney Channel Original Movies).

Musically, I tend to listen to hip-hop, soul, and an eclectic mix of whatever my friends have given me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied abroad in Havana, Cuba which, by itself was, a pretty incredible experience.

But one especially surreal experience was going skydiving over the city and landing in the middle of a baseball field, suspending play for a team of very frightened cuban children.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a pretty good cook and can make homemade poptarts if that's a thing that people want to know how to do!

I also know a lot about geology/water quality/fracking, and I could talk about that for probably longer than anyone would ever want me to.
