ABOUT ME
I just finished my tour of the American South, which was killer. Great people, great couchsurfing, great food, great conversation ... 4,000 miles, 8 states, one month. Good times.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a newbie, but would love to help people discover this part of the world -- as long as they don't tell too many of their friends. Nova Scotia remains largely a hidden treasure, which is part of its charm. You really have to leave a place to appreciate it, I guess.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed a bit in the States in April of this year, and have hosted a couple of times here in Nova Scotia. Hosting's a bit difficult at the moment (as I am a total loser who still lives with her parents), but I can sometimes accommodate.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked about half of the Camino de Santiago in Spain a few years back. We'd spent one long morning climbing this big hill (small mountain, maybe), and were pretty tired. As we crested the hill, the sun came out in full force, and when we looked down into the valley, all we could see for miles and miles were fields of sunflowers. Just a wash of bright yellow with a long strip of dirt track cutting through the centre.
