Music, Movies, and Books
ah, as for music: bachata, merengue, reggaeton!!!, taiwanese pop, k-pop and j-pop, CUMBIA!, country, acoustic...but my all-time favourite is bluegrass.
i love movies that make me think. my favourite movie of all time is definitely amores perros, followed closely by im juli and gone with the wind.
i'm an english teacher...i'll read anything :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
the most amazing thing i have ever seen was pretty simple, actually...watching the sun rise through all the smog on a spring morning on the rooftop of my old apartment in taiwan. simple things are the most beautiful.
also, the view off the top of taipei 101 at sunset isn't too shabby either ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
i am an avid traveller who has stepped on the soil of many countries, and has lived in three. i love learning new languages, cultures, customs, things to cook, music to listen to, places to go. i love learning anything that i can be taught.
i am a teacher by profession, so obviously, teaching is important to me. outside of teaching classroom english and literature, i love sharing my own culture(s) and language(s) with others, and well as gaining a mutual respect for and appreciation of other ways of seeing the world and doing things.
