I'm currently borrowing a year from retirement to travel! I normally live in California, but my stuff is now in storage there (thus why I'm not accepting guests). I'm a huge outdoor enthusiast and love almost any type of adventure sport. I recently learned to skydive and paraglide, and I've been running and mountain climbing for years. I also love festivals and events, from the smallest to largest, since the energy of so many people coming together for one cause is almost always intoxicating and contagious.

My favorites as of now would be Broods, Matoma, The Chainsmokers, 27 Dresses, You've Got Mail, The Alchemist, Harry Potter series, but I listen to/watch/read a huge variety of things and am currently on a "only media you can learn from" kick, and not just in the "you can learn from anything" sense of things. It's an experiment!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd say the biggest adventure for me was running an ultramarathon on every continent, including one in the Sahara and one in the Swiss Alps. I've also run the Everest marathon, which was pretty incredible, and I recently completed the Raid de Himalaya, a 6-day rally event in Northern India.
