ABOUT ME

My name is Katie, and currently I'm studying abroad in Sydney, Australia. Usually I live in the US, in Missouri. I like meeting new people and living life in such a way that when I'm old, I'll have tons of stories to tell my grandchildren. I'm afraid of wasting too much time worrying and working at a job I don't enjoy (as per the American lifestyle), so in this brief stretch of time without the heavy weight of debt and responsibility, I'm trying to see and do as much as I can. I'm relaxed and tend to go with the flow when things go wrong... I believe that it's those times when you have the most exciting and memorable adventures. :)

PHILOSOPHY

I don't want to look back on what I've done in my life and be disappointed in any way, so I try to live with that in mind. I don't want to feel like I've wasted any time on pursuits that aren't fulfilling or life-changing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couch surfing! I've heard great things about it from friends and am eager to try surfing. I'd love to have someone stay on my couch in Missouri if my roommate next year is cool with it. Since I'm abroad in Australia right now, I figured it would be the perfect time to start surfing!
