ABOUT ME

I'm not great at describing myself. But according to my friends, I am upbeat, yet pensive; motivated, musical, and open to new experiences...I have too many hobbies for my own good, and more ideas for my life than I have time to act on. I want to live, love, and experience fully.

I moved to Toronto for the first time this past year, and am excited to explore new things. Come join me for urban adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed with many great people in Geneva (Switzerland), Padova (Italy), Lisbon (Portugal), and all over Japan. I've also hosted some wonderful people from the United States, Canada and England.

Interests

I love music, books, cooking, cafes, making stuff, writing, photography, fair trade, biking, hiking, skating, snowboarding, being outside, board games...and of course, good conversation about all kinds of things under the sun. If you have anything to say about politics, faith, religion, social justice, books, travel, or crazy adventures, chances are I want to hear it.

As you can see, I have a lot of interests. Generally, I am easygoing, social and talkative but on the quiet side, and can be up for doing just about anything!

I can play various musical instruments. I can also teach you to knit or crochet or to make a mean Mennonite home-cooked meal.
I want to improve my French and Japanese, and any other languages I can gather.
