About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find my calling in life.

ABOUT ME

I was an astrophysics major at the University of Louisville. I am taking a semester or two off, because I went through a very rough couple of months and now I need to destress before I explode.
I have the travel itch. I am, in the next year, going to:
portland
seattle
vancouver
nashville
nyc
possibly birmingham
and chester, england.
and anywhere else the wind takes me.
i'm a very friendly person and I can get along with pretty much anyone.
my favorite thing in the world is meeting new people.
talk to me, let's get to know each other.

PHILOSOPHY

My biggest philosophy is karma karma karma. I try my hardest to be the best person I can be, and have not and will not ever steal from another person in my entire life. I have been screwed over, but I believe in cosmic revenge not personal.

Music, Movies, and Books

Really, anything. My music tastes range from folksy to rock, rap to country, and I am always open to experiencing new music, movies, or books. I really like fantasy/sci-fi, as well as historical fiction. I am a very well read individual and hope to continue expanding my personal library.
LOLOL ON THE ROAD

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing, life changing experiences I've ever had was when I was in the circus. There is a group called Circus of the Kids, that travels around to different middle and high schools across the counrty. They stay for a month and train students to put on their very own circus! I participated three years in a row, climbing and spinning 50 feet in the air on the silks, riding around on peoples' shoulders on bikes, and announcing all the acts as the ringmistress.
The biggest event in my entire life was four years ago. I got pregnant at the age of 17, on accident. The father never found out. I was terrified, and didn't know what to do. I didn't even find out until I was five months along, too late for an abortion if I'd wanted to go that route. I knew I was not at a point in my life where I could raise a child, financially or mentally. I knew that if I had her and kept her, my mom would be burdened with a significant part of the raising. I couldn't do that to her. I found a couple, friends of the family, who had been trying to have a baby for over ten years. They'd spent over $25,000 on in vitro treatments, and they never worked. I called them, and they were ecstatic. They were with me every step of the way, and when I had her they cried harder than anyone could imagine. We all did. It is an open adoption, and we get together every month or so. She is going to know who I am as she gets older. Its all worked out perfectly, much better than I ever thought it would.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a space case. Like literally, lets talk about space. I will blow your mind.
