About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a 35 years old french anthropologist; i'm currently living in the countryside of Toulouse (1h from the city), in a beautiful area called Gers. I live here with my boyfriend (he's a tattoo artist) and our two dogs (one male, Australian Sheppard, one female, Border Collie). We have a big house and a vast garden, where I try to grow some fruits and vegetables :)
I love nature, of course, but also cooking, playing guitar, writing, and spending time with my friends.
I'm an easygoing and open minded person (at least, I hope so!). I'm very curious and i like to meet various people, share their culture and learn from them: apprehendig new points of vue and trying to understand them, That's how we grow :)
WARNING: it's much better if you have a car to come visit us and be autonomous! We live in the middle of nowhere, so... if you want to enjoy the peacefullness of the place, walks in nature and the company of two dogs, you're very welcome! There is a bus though (it takes 1h45 to go to Toulouse using this method), we can get you from there et take you to it if you want.
PHILOSOPHY
Never wait for tomorrow, if you can do what you want right now!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It's been over a decade now that I'm on CS: I travelled a lot (England, Scotland, Spain, Nederlands, Germany, Hungary, Portugal, Croatia, Russia, Nepal, etc...). I also hosted when I was still living in Toulouse. It's a bit more complicated for the hosts to come and visit our place now that we moved in the countryside, but it would be a real pleasure to share this new experience with couchsurfers!
Being on CS made me discover the best people ever! Generous, open-minded and genuine people that I'll never forget :)
According to me, it's the best traveling method: you can discover the country you want to visit with another perspective, share the culture of your hosts and a lot of other stuff you can't do when you're just a tourist
That's why I want to share experiences with all the people I can!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Fishing, partying, playing guitar and singing in Scotland (Oban!), sleeping in treehouses, watching crappy horror movies in an old school, hosting people i'll never forget (Mikko, Alain, Cecilia!), cooking raspberrys jam, visiting ruins lost in the woods.... You don't write memories, you have to live it!!
