Came across the site looking for places to stay in Peru...

Update 2 years later - couchsurfers are wonderful. I didn't end up in couchsurfing in Peru, but had lovely encounters in bars and later kind responses to frantic emails sent in Ecuador. For now, I'm just an observer but I'm happy to give people advice about Trinidad. I'm not on here too much, but I'll reply to you as best I can.
