Hi!
I start like most people; I'm 23 years old and currentley I'm traveling as a backpacker in Australia together with my dutch fiancée. I've been dreaming about traveling around the world since many years back, but since I've been sick in lyme disease I didn't have the possibility. But now I have(!), it's amazing to be here down under, see all the wonderful nature, meet people, enjoy the warmth and sun.

But oups, enough about the trip, something more about me. I'm from Sweden where I worked as a legitimated biomoleculair scientist. I moved from home when I was 16 to study at a christian boarding school and I have a little brother. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend gave me and my boyfriend a tips about this site for our upcoming working holliday-trip to australia/new zealand, and I thought it sounded awesome. To get to meet people familiar to the culture and surroundings we are gonna visit is a lovely add to the trip! It opens up so many possibilities for experiences and new friendships.

Interests

I'm very social, so my biggest interest is to hang out with my friends. I'm always interested in hearing peoples life stories, everyone have something interesting to tell. I really like to take pictures as well, specially of the amazing nature (yes, I'm one of those sunset-people). I’m a Christian (Seventh Day Adventist) and back in Sweden I was active in my church. Moreover I love to write and play the piano, but hey, if we meet we are probably gonna go through all that anyway ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music. When it comes to movies I mostley like chick-flicks (like a walk to remember, titanic) and movies with a deeper meaning (the butterfly effect, pay it forward) that makes you appriciate life even more.

I love to read, but I sadly almost never have time to do it. But when I do, the same cathegories goes for my taste in books as for movies. I really like to read about someones life destiny, specially those stories that are both sad and happy and that makes you feel happy for things in your own life.

When it comes to music, well, I really like listen to music but I'm the worst at naming artists and so on and I can't really say that I have a particlulair taste in music. I like most of it (maybe not metal or hard rock though). I love to hear people play the piano, that really gives me peace.
