About Me
Hello fellas,
I'm Katja, 20 and was born in Trier, Germany. I lived there for almost my whole life 'til I started travelling through Australia and Indonesia for several month in 2015/2016 where couchsurfing became a part of my traveller live. I am friendly and easy-going - and by the way - have an excellent sense of humour (well you will see :D). Always keen to get to know some new stuff especially about food, languages and some good stories (I can share some to you as well). I have a lovely dog in my hometown which i cant see that often so it's always a pleasure for me if hosts have dogs i can cuddle or play with (:
Good for me - maybe not so good for you - I LOVE jamming and music in general, but I can't bring up one single name of a person with less talent than me. Combined with a relaxed evening or some nights out there is potential to have a good time together. (Favorite instrument the classy bongo and guitar -> so if someone wants the challenge of a lifetime , try to teach me playing an instrument).
Back to the facts about me: I finished school, went to Australia (Work and Travel) and moved to Osnabrück (Germany) in order to study nutritional sciences. I love pasta, cheese, smoothies, cakes and pastry in general, cooking, good jokes (and bad jokes as well, even if they're my own), hanging out with good company, going out for a drink, almost EVERY series about doctors and stuff (Greys ANATOOOOMY), crossword puzzles, and so on and so on (Cant tell you everything so it wouldnt be tensious to get to know me (; )
I havent hosted so far cause I moved out just a few month ago and had to sort my life, but definetely on my to-do-list for the future. BUT I enjoyed EVERY single time I had the honour to be a couchsurfer, there were so many interesting, crazy and lovely people and after nearly 1 year without new couchsurfer experiences I NEED TO GET SOME NEW AAAAAAH!
The rest of my personality and interests needs to be discovered by you (;
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Honestly, I started couchsurfing one day in Australia 'cause I couldn't find a place to stay and I just signed up for couchsurfing.com - and I have to say: THANK YOU for that! We made a pretty "special" and at the same time really funny first experience with couchsurfing but afterward I have been drawn into this circle of adventure and I couldn't stop searching for new hosts all around Australia and they've been so fantastic, that I kept contact with some of them and found friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
DEFINETELY WHEN I STARTED TO TRAVEL, life has become so much better with the possibility to get to know new people, their culture and their language.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am not pretty sure what I can offer to teach, maybe some German or some cooking/baking skills, good and bad jokes, not certified knowledge about medical processes I learned from greys anatomy,...
BUT I would looooove to learn new languages, new recipes, playing an instrument (especially bongo or guitar), tricks to make the best out of the one life you have, and all the spontaneous stuff you can offer (;
What I Can Share with Hosts
