Hi,

My name is Katja and after finishing my studies in Madrid and Reutlingen (Germany) last year, I have been working in Prague as a Salesperson for about a year.
I decided that I'm still young and want to explore the world, which is why I decided to take some time of to do just that (either by myself or with my boyfriend)

I'm 24 years old, have 3 cats (who live with my mom. I also like dogs though) and 2 younger brothers.
Also, I have lived in shared flats in the last 5 years, so I know how to behave around people ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'M on couchsurfing because I want to travel a lot in the near future and prefer this to the traditional way (as in booking a hotel room).
Why? Well first of all, all of my friends using Couchsurfing tell me that they meet really awesome people here. So I want to meet you guys, too! :)
I don't really have a second of all... Meeting fun people in new places is basically it

Interests

In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies, playing Videogames and cooking (preferrably with friends). Also 9Gag
And, of course: travelling and exlporing new cities/cultures/foods etc.

Favorite movie is also hard, but favorite actor is currently Chris Hemsworth
Favorite book I'd say is the Martian, but I'd like to stress that I read it before it was cool (like, last year)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've just been to Ghana for over two weeks. That was pretty amazing and I'm sure not too many people have done that. If not, I can recommend it. Makes you appreciate having hot water in the shower and a working fridge :D
