Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people from different backgrounds and share stories and experiences!

For surfing:
I think it is the best way to get to know the local culture when traveling! Staying with couchsurfing hosts always brought me to places I would have never found otherwise and seeing how everyday life looks like is nothing you can experience at hotels :)

For hosting:
Now I will be bound to Utrecht for my study so I can not travel as much. I think hosting is a nice way to learn about other and countries and cultures, even at my own home! Also, I had an amazing time surfing, so I want to give something back to the cs community so others can have the same.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking through europe last summer was defenitely one of my travel highlights so far :D
And taking every chance to live abroad! When I was 15, I first went to Finland for an exchange year, which was the best decision I could have done and the beginning of many adventures that followed.
Every single trip in Japan especially hiking the Japanese Alps, it was amazing!
