CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I'm a 25-year-old girl from Germany who loooves to travel the world and meet new people. I was born in Russia, moved to Germany when I was still a little girl and grew up there, lucky me. Spent some time in the UK which I enjoyed so so much. Now back in my beloved Australia having an awesome time, studying, travelling, meeting new people and making heaps of new international friends!
PHILOSOPHY
Strangers are friends you haven't met yet.
I also believe that everything is going to be ok in the end. And if it's not ok, it's not the end. As simple as that. :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a very new member. Haven't hosted anybody so far. But am looking forward to hosting people as soon as I'm back home and giving them the same amazing experience that I had.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Through a huge coincidence me and some other exchange students ended up going on this fantastic CS trip to Jervis Bay (without even knowing that it was a CS trip). :-) I met really lovely people there. With two of them I did a raodtrip up the east coasts, we couchsurfed and I may say that I had the most amazing time in my life. So it was quite clear that I needed to join CS!!
Interests
meeting up with friends and strangers, enjoying nature, having a good laugh, reading, learning languages, listenting to good music, having good food, travelling the world and so many more!!

Music, Movies, and Books
I read a lot. So many books on my list that I want to read. My favourite book is probably Frank Schätzing's 'The swarm'. And yes, I confess, that I am obsessed with Harry Potter. :-)
Sometimes I think that heaven must consist of continous, never ending reading.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Looking at the starry sky on Fraser Island, staying at the Treehouse in Byron Bay (I still think that this is heaven on earth)
Teach, Learn, Share
What I have learned in my young life so far is that it is never too late for anything!! I don't like the pressure that society puts on people concerning the way they should lead their lives. Anybody can do anything anytime! It is never too late to start something new and sometimes it is good to not take the easiest way. I truly believe that. Sometimes making detours will add so much to your life. You can only benefit from it. There is nothing to lose.
