About Me
CURRENT MISSION
In general I would say that my mission is to become a doctor and travel the world!
Right now, my friend Noah (you can see him in my profile picture) and me are spontaneously planning a 3 -4 week trip from Athens, Greece back to Germany via bus, train or hitchhiking, and on the way we would love to meet awesome people who can help us to experience their country as an 'insider'.
ABOUT ME
I'm very enthusiastic, open, and spontaneous. There are very few things I dislike and most of the time I am very happy with what I have, especially when I'm traveling. Noah and I have travelled quite bit together and we have made many friends along the way, I'm hoping for more!
PHILOSOPHY
"A grey area in a world that doesn't like grey areas. But the grey areas, that's where you find the complexity, the humanity, and that's where you find the truth." Jon Ronson, TED
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only couchsurfed a couple of times myself and unfortunately I have never been able to host, but even these few experiences and especially everything I have heard about couchsurfing from friends fascinate me and if I could, I would start traveling right now and never stop!
Interests
I love going on adventures, listening to interesting people and hearing cool stories. Sometimes I might even have a story to tell that's worth hearing.. ;) Traveling is my favorite thing in the world, but when I'm home, most of my time is spent reading (unfortunately most of them are medical text books at the moment..), cooking & baking, exercising or going out with friends. Also, I LOVE Banana Grams!

Music, Movies, and Books
For music I must say, I'm really open for almost anything. My favorite band are The Killers (a remainder from my teenage years), along with Mumford and Sons Of Monsters and Men and lots of other folky stuff.
I'm really more of a book than a movie person, but I love Harold and Maude and Where The Wild Things Are and a few other good ones. For books, again, it's really almost anything- right now I'm trying to learn spanish by reading Harry Potter in spanish.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For my senior project in high school I built a decent sized raft and floated down a river for three days- Best days of my life so far!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Compared to many others I've probably not seen much of the world, but there have been some great experiences, amazing people and wonderful moments along the way, which I would love to share with anyone who is willing to listen. Also, I love to cook and there is nothing that I love more than sharing a home-cooked meal with friends or friends-to-be!
