ABOUT ME

I studied German language and literature, so I really enjoy reading and going to the theatre. I'm not so much a clubbing girl, but I really like to go out to the pubs having a drink with friends. I work as a teacher for German as a foreign language which is great, because people from all over the world sit in my classroom. And I enjoy cooking a lot, so if you are staying over, you have to eat ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great thing! I really like the idea of being hospitable to people from all over the world and meet them as friends :)

Interests

BOOKS, theatre, movies, music (especially hip hop), sports (long-distance running, cricket and baseball), foreign languages (I study farsi/dari at the moment) and I like outdoor stuff such as trekking and camping. Some day I'll do the West Highland Way in less than 7 days :D

I really like Eastern German literature like Stefan Heym, Brigitte Reimann, Christoph Hein or some works by Christa Wolf, crime fiction (Ian Rankin), Austrian Literature (Thomas Glavinic, Paulus Hochgatterer), Scottish Literature, German Hip Hop (Samy Deluxe, Dendemann, eins zwo, Kinderzimmer)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Best thing I've done this summer was climbing Ben Nevis and travelling through Scotland because Scotland and me, that's a never-ending love story :)
