About Me

ABOUT ME

I spent 23 years of my life in Italy (Milan) and than moved to Manchester (UK) for 7 years where I graduated in foreign languages. My first backpacker experience in Mexico has awaken my passion for travelling and tasting different cultures. My next step will be trying to get a job in Japan, a country whose history, traditions, anime and above all food ...has always deeply fascinated me. The following will be...

PHILOSOPHY

the way you live your life should be like a good dinner - always with generous portions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a new member of the couch surfing project and i am very excited to be a part of it all. I have traveled a lot and slept on many couches and many people have used my couch over the years.

Interests

I love the cinema and try to get to at least two film festivals per year. I was recently at Berlinale, an international film festival in Berlin. I love independent cinema some of my favorite directors are - Woody Allen, Takeshi Kitano, Pedro Almodovar

i have a rising interest in contemporary art and i often visit galleries, exhibitions and artist spaces. This has led me to experiment with visual arts myself.

In the last few years i have been following some courses with a focus on engraving, water color painting and lacquering.

Of course like many people on this site i also love to travel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

cacti in deserts,
fluorescent plankton under the full moon,
tasted apple brown betty and shepherds pie,
an armadillo and Crocodiles free on a beach,
smell of old books in libraries
