About Me

ABOUT ME

I love talking to travelers, exchanging life lessons and pholosophy, but also having fun and show you around in my little big city of Bratislava (or get to know yours). Love meeting open minded people, let's talk about music, art, food, places, ideas. I consider myself a straight ally - if you wear the colors of rainbow, you are safe with me💜

PHILOSOPHY

In a book by Douglas Adams, there is a ship flying through the universe with the infinite power source of improbability. Anytime there is something too far, or too dangerous, and you don´t know how this could have a good ending... you just push the button of improbability and something great happens (however unlikely it was before). So I´ve learned:

Nothing is impossible.
Just highly improbable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I cannot provide a "couch" for you to stay. But I can hang out, go for a coffee, for a walk, for a prossecco, show you some nice places or recommend something.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I always liked the concept of CS. The way it can connect people and how it shows that life is not only about money, comfort, but more about enjoying, experiencing, trying, giving and taking in the best meaning of the word. Some of my friends are passionate couchsurfers. My CS highlight is the summer 2012 where I spent 2 weeks in California, USA, entirely on couchsurfing and it was the best holiday of my life sofar!***

Interests

I am instantly interested in anything that is new. Love travelling, because it always shows you something new, meeting new people, even being home I try to spend as much time with friends as possible, looking for interesting places in my town (there is always something new to discover)

Since I studied and work in a media industry, I am interested in the media world. I love movies, even while travelling I am looking for cinemas:) Just name a movie...

Music, I play guitar, don´t worry i don´t sing.. when somebody is around.

I love writing, I wrote for a school paper in high school and then a bit while being in a university, now I don´t have time for it anymore.. but I´d love to get back to that one day.

I think I have some passion for the creative works - painting, sketching (portaits preferably), photography, lately I´ve discovered sewing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a movie maniac:) Starting with Singing in the Rain, The Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty, 500 days of Summer Pixar movies, Harry Potter movies, action movies, romantic movies, sci-fi movies, horror movies even (but I watch them with my eyes closed), litteraly anything with Arnold Schwarzenegger (but only with the original voice!), every Tim Burton movie

Music - I say, I like anything I can play with my guitar

Books - Douglas Adams (The Hitchhiker´s Guide - all 5 books) are my absolute favourit fiction books, I like reading fantasy books because they really let your mind just go someplace interesting. And the all-time favourit book of mine is "Conversations with God" - might sound quite religious at first but in reality it is a philosophical book that answears the questions of life, universe and everything.. What would you ask if you could?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

August 2012 spent in California, me and 3 other girls on the open road from San Francisco down to San Diego - it was a dream come true, met so many amazing people and found the faith in myself again.

Appart from couchsurfing, I would pick the amazing time I spent as an animator in Formentera and Ibiza (Spain). It was 2 summers full of adventure, met so many great people, seen amazing places, stoon up on the stage, down in the audience, learned so much about myself and everytime I think back, I have a smile on my face:)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some guitar chords, we could sew but that is really hard in a café... we can or speak some basic slovak phrases. By the time you´ll arrive I might have at least 2 new hobbies, so let´s see... maybe it is better to just walk the city and have a nice talk;)
