ABOUT ME

My name is Katleen. I moved to Berlin for studying architecture. Since then I have also lived in Madrid for ten months, which was my Erasmus year.
The past four years I have been living in Switzerland and Munich for reasons of work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experiences were through other hosting networks, but that was on a trip I did with a friend and we contacted all our hosts via her account (since I didn't have any account).
It was a journey from Budapest to Athens, via Belgrade, Skopje, Thessaloniki, and we found hosts in all of those cities and it was always a really good experience.
From 2011 I had my own CS account, and since then did couchsurfing in Bologna, Rome, Badajoz (Spain) and Bern. Each of those experiences was great. I felt warmly welcome in each of those places and met really really nice people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

one really good experience was a bike trip I did with a friend in 2008. It's a really intense way of travelling because of being quite slow, everywhere you get you're in close touch with the nature and in direct contact with the people you see.
