ABOUT ME

I grew up in northern California in a small town called Paradise in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. I spent my childhood getting lost in canyons, swimming in rivers and climbing trees. My father is Norwegian, so I also traveled a lot to Norway. When I was sixteen I became interested in discovering and cultivating my Scandinavian roots, so I found an international school in Oslo and got the whole family to move to Norway. What was at first only going to be a year or two abroad ended up being seven years and counting. In these past seven years I've completed highschool, worked various cafe jobs, traveled, lived in Italy for one year and just recently I completed a degree in Aesthetics and Literature from the University of Oslo.

I'm a citizen of the womb in a world of my own. I daydream a lot. I'm a little spaced out, but I manage to stay down to earth. And I seem to be constantly fleeing from my comfort zone.

In Silicy sitting at a farmers market in an apple orchard at the foot of Mt.Etna watching lava flow down her side at sundown while listening to live danish folk music and eating homemade mulberry ice cream.
