ABOUT ME

My name is Katya - hello there! I'm 28 and originally from Toronto, in which I still hang my hat. I love living there but have made the decision to hit the road again (currently in Europe!) and explore parts of the world where I a) have roots, b) have always wanted to visit and c) can visit other friends also in the midst of traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

I recently succumbed to the illness of the travel bug and have accepted the fact that I will have it for life. My strongest convictions in life revolve around treating others as I would have them treat me, no matter what part of the world I am currently in and so far it's worked out pretty well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been involved with Couchsurfing for a while now and unfortunately have only had a rare few opportunities to both host and surf based on my erratic work/travel schedule. I've loved every experience though, as you find you end up meeting people over and over who are just like you.
