ABOUT ME
Update: Wow, I have not updated this for quite some time! As of the new year [2015], I am a doctoral candidate in mathematics education at Columbia University, in the City of New York. I teach mathematics as an adjunct professor at Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York. Lastly, I am an iOS technician for the infamous fruit: . Otherwise, since the majority of my life is still on an academic schedule, I attempt to travel where I can internationally. The people I have met abroad are some of the most fantastic individuals I have ever encountered.
I have traveled a bit thanks to my community service organization, Circle K International. I have attended their international conventions in the following locations: Portland, Oregon; Denver, Colorado; and Birmingham, Alabama.
As far as traveling for leisure, I have been to Las Vegas Nevada; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and New York City, New York. When I was younger, I visited Vietnam twice and I have lived in California all my life.
Currently, I am studying to be a mathematician, but I have had a lot of detours in my education, such as my upcoming one at Teachers College at Columbia University. However, I have learned that education is something constant in life once the degree is attained. From here, I will apply to more graduate programs that involve Pure or Applied Mathematics, or I may find a job in the industry before teaching the rest of my life in a classroom.
