About Me
CURRENT MISSION
TRAVEL THE WORLD WHILST I'M STILL YOUNG!
ABOUT ME
A specimen of globalisation, I was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, then moved to St. Louis, US, back to Almaty, and then to London, UK.
As a result, my mentality presents an eclectic concoction: 'a bit of everything' as an acquaintance once stated.
Russian being my mother tongue, I am fluent in English and have an advanced knowledge of French. Personal qualities include self-discipline, curiosity and audacity.
PHILOSOPHY
You only regret what you don't try out in life.

Interests
Languages, cinema, photography, fine art, music.
Throughout my life, I have dithered between the visual arts and writing as future, career paths.
As a child, I enjoyed drawing hares and rabbits, as a 9-year-old I portrayed female clothing and as a teenager – painted naturalistic portraits in the style of Art Nouveau artist, Gustav Klimt.
Throughout my undergraduate degree in English literature with French at Edinburgh University, I was particularly drawn to Modernist novels such as Toni Morrison’s Jazz, Virginia Woolf’s Mrs Dalloway and Marcel Proust’s In Search of Lost Time.
On the level of music, I absolutely love listening to a wide range of eclectic bands including the classics (Sting, Annie Lennox, EBTG, Radiohead, Björk), indie (The Kooks, Razorlight, The Killers, Coldplay, Oasis, The Verve) and French music (Nouvelle Vague, MC Solaar, NTM, Serge Gainsbourg, , Air), Irish music (The Cranberries and Enya).
Lately, I have become particularly interested in independent cinema including the work of film directors such as Wong Kar-wai, Takeshi Kitano, Zhang Imou, Pedro Almodóvar.
