For two years, I was studying Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Manchester. But, for the last nine months I have been doing study-abroad placements, which led me to spend one semester at the University of Lisbon, one semester at the University of Sao Paulo, and I'm currently in Buenos Aires doing a Spanish course. I like the usual things - travelling, books, animals, meeting interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing a while back but never got around to using it (either as a host or as a traveller.) But, since I have arrived in Buenos Aires by myself, I decided to start using the site again, as a way of meeting other people during the month that I will be living in this city. I would like to meet and share experiences with other foreign travellers but also to meet real Argentinian and Latin American people.

Interests

I love travelling and living abroad (I lived 3-4 months each in Israel, Portugal and Brazil.) I also like meeting interesting people and sharing experiences, especially in new places.
I also like reading, studying foreign languages and I really love animals of all varieties.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like music that reminds me of Manchester, like Oasis and The Stone Roses, but I also like music from other places.
My favourite movie is Withnail and I.
My favourite book is The Catcher In The Rye.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived with a dog when I was studying in Sao Paulo, and I never really realised how much I enjoyed the company of animals until I shared a house with him.
