Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me Couchsurfing is the ideal travel accessory. It enables the traveller to meet new people, experience a city like/with a local, have a (temporary) home-away-from-away and the fact that it's free is always a nicely added bonus for his/her wallet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only had a few couchsurfing experiences, but so far they have been great. I hope to welcome people onto my couch as soon as I have my own place.

The list is endless..
Movies: Basically anything with a strong story (preferably without too much violence). For me a movie just has to move me ;).
Music: It depends on my mood. But generally I like Indie Rock/Pop, sing-a-longs and oldies.
Books: I'm a sucker for travel biographies: From Seven years in Tibet, to Eat Pray Love.

I'm eager to learn anything new! In return I would be honoured to make you some traditional Belgian food. Now, I don't pretend to be a great cook, but I love doing it and it's eatable.
