About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Hi ya'll I just moved back to Colorado for the 7th time and this time not seasonally. And for the 1st time I'm not in the mountains as a ski bum or guide but to become a science teacher, somewhere in the Denver area. I am hoping to meet new friends in the Denver area, get to know the area more and find adventure partners! I hopefully will be able to host soon too once I get more settled down. I am always down for potlucks, jam sessions and random adventures.

ABOUT ME

Hello! I have lived the fun seasonal life for years bouncing from Colorado and California on and off as as a naturalist and program coordinator and ski bum. Then the last 2 years I've been in Seattle I have been working on my science teaching credential. I am now planning to make Co my home for a while as I get my masters and become a middle school science teacher. I have a real passion for learning about other people and I love traveling. I'm getting more into traveling by bike especially in other countries. I cycled around Europe starting in Copenhagen and made my way to Italy. I have led trips internationally and love connecting people. I love meeting people, hearing a good story and jamming (I have my mandolin with me usually). I'm currently obsessed with cycling, conservation, sunsets, my mandolin, all winter sports, climbing, good beer and meeting people with a good story! I'm a Finnish, American, Canadian who loves learning about culture and I hope to collect musical instruments on my travels too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

WHY I LOVE COUCHSURFING
When ever possible I I love to have the human connection when ever I travel somewhere. I feel couch surfing really serves that purpose beautifully. I would love to meet up for coffee or a walk and of course a couch and company is a wonderful and comforting as one is traveling!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My latest couch surfing experience has been when I biked from Denmark to Italy for 2 months, couch surfing along the way and always asking my host where to bike to next. I met some of the nicest most generous people in the most unlikely places. I couch surfed a couple times in the states when I was traveling. I couch surfed in Norway and Sweden too and met some really nice Scandinavians and want to relive how nice of experience that was. They really showed me and my partner around! One mom of a couch surfer host in Oslo personally brought us to all her favorite places in Olso!
